Passed away on June 29th, 2022 at the age of 78. Predeceased by his parents, Eugene Caccamise Sr. and Mary Melideo; first wife, Dorothy Donoghue; son, Roger Stevens; Siblings, David Caccamise, Mike Melideo, Barb Marvin, Tom Donoghue, Chuck Melideo, John Melideo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Donoghue; children, Rose Huntress, Rebecca (Steve) Allen, Mary Joyce Taylor, Lori (Darrell) Everdyke, Bonnie (Ken) Brannan, Debora (Leonard Farley) Donoghue; Carol (Korey) McNees, Philip Donoghue, Flora (Tim) Barnard and Jen Wisner; step-children, Amy, Merea, Derick, Beth, Sarah and Wade; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Whalen, David (Margaret) Donoghue, Eugene (Debbie) Caccamise Jr., Brenda Terry, Donna Melideo, Brian Melideo and Richard Melideo, along with many nieces; nephews and cousins.
George was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and Captain of the Orleans County Mounted Patrol. He was a foster parent to many children and always generous and eager to serve those in need. He had an incredible sense of humor. He loved horses and working with his hands, there was nothing he couldn't fix.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday July 9th, 2022 at 4PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 4088 Lake Rd Brockport, NY 14420. Private Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions my be made to Foundation Fighting Blindness, P.O. Box 45740 Baltimore, MD 21297-5740.
