Passed away on Monday, January 22, 2007 at age 80. He is predeceased by his parents, Leonard & Geraldine; sisters, Dorothy Noyes and Betty Vogt. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary; children, Geoffrey (Chris), Kathryn (James) Cosgrove, Michael, Timothy (Elena); brothers, Frank and Carl; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. George was a WWII Veteran of the US Army Air Corps.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 28th, from 1-4 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning at 11 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Assoc., PO Box 451429, Atlanta, GA 31145-9429.
