With artistic talents in oils and acrylics, George has been self-employed since 1972. His first business was "Signs of the Time," hand-painted business signs, with his work still displayed all over the city. His talent in painting allowed him to create his first television show at WXXI, "Art from the Heart" (and still found on YouTube) for over ten years to teach others how to awaken their painting talents.

George's endearing and sparkling personality touched thousands of friends and fans.
