George Joseph Mazzeo Sr.

Passed away on, April 10, 2025 at the age of 92.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, US Navy Veteran, Marine Corps hospital corpsman, career as a high school science teacher, devout Catholic, and was very skilled at carpentry and cooking. He will be remembered by everyone for his many talents, and his warm and friendly demeanor.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Luigia Mazzeo, and his parents, Antonio and Rose Mazzeo.

He is survived by his children, George J. Mazzeo, Jr., Philip C. (Marie) Mazzeo, Anthony R. (Darlene) Mazzeo, Christine M. Henning, James L. (Christine) Mazzeo; grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16, at 11am at the Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave, to follow Mass.
