Predeceased by his parents, George Scott, Sr.,& Rosa Lee Scott; brother, Ernest Scott; & daughter in law, Essie Wallace Scott.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley T. Scott; children Donnie Lee Scott, Gerald E. (Ramona) Scott, Brenda (Samuel) Devine, & Shirley M. Boone; grandchildren, LaDonia Scott, Gerald "J.J" (LaTasha) Scott, Donnie L. (Tammie) Scott Jr., Anthony Scott, Marcus Scott, Michael Scott, Serina (Leon) Jones, Nikita (Alex) Boone-Kachur, Tiffani Devine, Brittany Devine, Sharday Scott, Tylia Scott, Jaheam Scott; 21 great grandchildren & many great-great grandchildren; brothers, Roy Scott, Lawrence (Mary) Scott,Grant (Shawlar) Scott; sisters, Jessie Taylor, Josie Mae Scott, Gracie (William) Newton, Lila (Roosevelt) Bryant; & two special nieces Wanda (Gairy) Austin & Regina (Jerome) Washington; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Family will receive friends at 10am on Saturday January 14th, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. Services to follow at 11am.
Interment at Grove Place Cemetery, 2775 Chili Ave.
