Greece: Passed away unexpectedly, Friday, March 20, 2009, at age 87. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life of 66 years, Gertrude; son, Wayne (Bella); grandchildren, Michael (Evelyn), Kim (Chris) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Britney and Caleb. George was a retiree of Eastman Kodak after 42 years of service, and a United States Army veteran serving during World War II.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service with full military honors will be held Thursday, March 26 at 11 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy Flight, 100 Amherst Villa Rd., Buffalo, NY 14225.
