Greece: Thursday, July 19, 2007 at age 79. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley (Faro); children, Erin (Mark Behnke) Bliss of Boston, MA. and Daniel (Karen) Street of Bethany, NY; sister, Marlene Shannon of CA.; brother-in-law, Walter (Virginia) Faro; sister-in-law, Jean (Harry) Hill; many nieces and nephews. George retired from Rochester Products in 1984 and was a member of the U.A.W. Local 1097.

Family and friends may call Sunday 2-6 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where his Funeral Service will be held Monday at 10 AM. Interment in Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care (c/o of St. Mary's Hospice), 3111 Winton Rd. S. Rochester, NY 14623 in George's memory.
