Rochester - Passed away on January 12, 2023 at the age of 66.
Predeceased by his parents, Leland & Marion Miller; brothers, Donald, Terry, Morris, Keith, & Oliver.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughters, Amy (Robert Santiago) Angora, Melissa Miller, & Kristine (Michael) Cochran; grandchildren, Joshua & Nathan Hargrave, Ryder & Jaxson Cochran, & Annalyse Miller; sibliings, Francis (Elayne) Miller, Robert (Donna) Miller, Harriet (Michael) McIntyre, & June (Robert) Richardson; many nieces & nephews.
Jerry served this country honorably in the United States Army. Also serving his community as a Firefighter/EMT for many years, including serving with the American Red Cross Emergency response teams. He continued to serve his brother and sister Veterans when they were called home, by being a member of the Monroe County American Legion Honor Guard and a member of Irondequoit American Legion Post 134. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and a friend to many.
Family will receive friends 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where his Military Honors Service will follow at 6:00 pm.
