Thursday, June 9, 2005 at age 83. Predeceased by his brothers, Loren and Malcolm; sisters, Jean and Phyllis. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; brothers, Newell(Dorothy) and Dale(Christine)Near; brother-in-law, George(Joan) Diem; sisters-in-law, Emily and Maxine Near, Virginia Mestler, Eleanor Bergen; many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service, Tuesday at 11:30 at Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 or the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Road, 14620 in his memory.
