Rochester: Passed peacefully Saturday, February 14, 2009 at age 83. Predeceased by her husband, Stephen A. She is survived by her son, Stephen (Jody); daughters, Annie (Tom) Luczak and Suzanne Brownell; grandchildren, Jarrod Lay, Jack and Riley Luczak, Marin and Braeden Melnyk; and a host of family members who adored this incredibly kind, unselfish woman.
Please remember: The next time you pass a sign for a garage sale, hum an Irish tune and think of our beloved "Galavanting Garage Sale Gertie."
Family and friends may attend calling hours 4-7 PM Wednesday at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. where a Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM Thursday. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph, 150 French Rd., Rochester, New York 14618.
