Rochester: Passed away October 22, 2008 at age 92. He is predeceased by his parents, Joanna and Michael Szczepanik. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Helen (Wroblewska); son, Richard (Mary) Stevens; and daughter, Linda (David) Statt; grandchildren, John (Beth) Statt, Michelle (Chris) Kryger, Jeffrey (Linda) Statt, Craig (Donna) Statt, Julie (Brad) Ryan, Steven (Kirsten) Statt, Rachel Stevens, Natasha (Mike) Enders, Nathaniel (Tricia) Stevens; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Bernadine Ryczek; and brother, Eugene Stevens.
Gil Stevens was a good man, dedicated to his God and family. A great husband, father and grandfather, he shared his love and his music with everyone.
Friends may call on Saturday, October 25th from 9:30-10:30 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., followed by a Funeral Mass, 11 AM at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
