ROCHESTER- Gilda M. Nobles, 90, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.
Gilda was born in Rochester, NY on August 4, 1930 to the late Sebastian and Margaret Mercurio. Gilda took great pride in her career at RIT, where she worked for over 30 years. She will be remembered for her love of music, the Buffalo Bills, and cooking for her family. Her passion in life was her family.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Diane Waddington, her siblings, Sam, Gloria, and Antoinette, and her daughter-in-law, Debbie.
She is survived by her children, Daniel (April) Nobles, John (Yvette) Nobles, and Robert Nobles, her siblings, Peter, Alice, and Robert. Her grandchildren, Kimberly (TJ) Hurysz, Brandon and Jason Waddington, Jackson Nobles, Jamie Lynn Hurysz, Danni, Amanda, and Lana, Sonya, Shannon and Jen. Her sister-in-law, Marilyn, the mother of her grand-daughter, Kathleen, and many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Saturday, June 5, 2021, from 1pm-3pm.
