GREECE- Gina M. LaPiana, 26, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 19, 2020.
Gina was born in Rochester, NY on December 27, 1993 to Marlene Barker and Rickie LaPiana. Gina graduated from Greece Olympia in 2012, where she was a Varsity Cheerleader. She will be remembered for her love of cheerleading, spending time with friends, and cats. She was known for bringing home and caring for stray cats in the neighborhood. Gina was a loving daughter, aunt, niece, and friend. She will be forever missed.
Gina is predeceased by her grandparents, Bernadette and Donald Barker, and Carol Hogan.
She is survived by her loving parents, Marlene Barker, and Rickie LaPiana, her aunts, Colleen and Michelle, her close cousins, Trishia (Mark Smith) Barker, Tiffany Barker, Anthony Barker, Thomas LaPiana, Donald LaPiana, and James LaPiana, her nieces and nephews, her 'little buddy', Hannah, and several cousins.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Monday, July 27, 2020 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements.
Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
