(Gwendolyn) Merkel; daughter, Michele M. (Glenn Hermes) Groden; grandchildren, Briane Merkel, Tracy Merkel, Molly Groden; sisters, Marie (James) Goggin and Lorraine Burton; nephew, Thomas (Audrey) Burke. Also predeceased by companion, William A. Philp.
Family and friends may call Tuesday 4-7 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 9 AM. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Kirkhaven, A Senior's First Community, 254 Alexander St., Rochester, NY 14607 in her memory.
