Grace M. Biedenbach
Irondequoit: Grace passed away peacefully on September 15, 2009 at age 85. She was predeceased by her husband, Don Biedenbach, who died in 1978. Grace is survived by her daughters, Judy Biedenbach and Donna Farrington, and her granddaughter, Adria Farrington, who all loved her and miss her very much. Grace, a World War II veteran, enjoyed her daily newspaper crossword puzzles (with the possible exception of the Friday puzzle!) and was an avid Yankees fan. She was happy to hear that her favorite player, Derek Jeter, broke Lou Gehrig's record as the all-time hits leader at Yankee Stadium. Grace also volunteered her time in earlier years delivering lunches as part of the Meals on Wheels program.
Grace's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Minnie Jefferson, Lifetime Care Home Health Aide, for the compassionate care she provided when Grace entered the in-home Hospice program. Minnie was a tower of support not only for Grace but also for Donna, Adria, and Judy.
The family also wishes to express their deepest thanks to the volunteers and staff at Isaiah House for their selfless care and comfort. All of these people have affirmed there are angels on earth.
Because Isaiah House exists solely through donations, we ask that if anyone would like to do something, a donation of any amount to Isaiah House in remembrance of Grace Biedenbach would be a wonderful thing.
