Greece: Sunday, October 4, 2009 at age 87. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert B. Keagy. She is survived by her children, Katherine (John) Nanosky, AZ, Michael (Michele) Keagy, OH, Elizabeth (Kim) Kowalke, Scottsville, NY, Claudia Brewington, MN, David (Kelly) Keagy, CA; 12 grandchildren, including Kyle Kowalke; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Adelaide Love, NV; along with many nieces and nephews.
Grace had an extensive career on Broadway which included feature roles with Lauren Bacall, Debbie Reynolds, Patrick Swayze, Joel Grey, Lonnie Anderson, Raquel Welch and Liv Ullman. Her career included several films, commercials and soap operas. She was a classical pianist and graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music where she received training as an opera singer. Grace can be seen during the holiday season in the film Mrs. Santa Claus staring Angela Lansbury.
There will be no prior calling hours. Service and Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Visiting Nurse Service, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580 or to Journey Home Inc., 994 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626.
