Malone, George W. Jr. Gunnery Sergeant USMC (Ret.)
Rochester: Passed away peacefully Saturday, March 20, 2010 at age 72. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Reta; son, Shane Francis; sisters, Marilyn, Kim, and Dawn; brothers, Larry (Barbara) Malone, Robert (Anne) Malone, and many nieces and nephews.
George was a retiree of the United States Marine Corp where he achieved the rank of Gunnery Sergeant and served 3 tours in Vietnam.
The family will receive friends Thursday March 25, from 4 to 8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
