Beloved husband and father. Suddenly on August 11, 2005 at age 60. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Rayne. Survived by his wife and best friend of 41 years, Marlene L. DeJonge; sons, John (Lisa) DeJonge & David Haka; daughters, Audrey (Pat) Mangiola, Laurie (Paul) Cassella, Yvonne Haka, Valerie (Steve) Rich; grandchildren, David, Alyssa, Vincent, Alexa, Lynn, Peter, Lorna, John Jr. and Stephen; great-grandchildren, "A.J."; brother, Bucky (Pat) DeJonge & Hanky (Bonnie) DeJonge; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16 from 7-9 pm at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to charity of your choice.
