Fairport: Died peacefully Thursday, October 1, 2009 at age 86. She is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Rowe M. Stutzman; sons, Robert N. Stutzman and Howard E. Stutzman. She is survived by her sons, R. Mack (Dianne) Stutzman Jr., Kansas City, MO, James B. (Laura) Stutzman, Austin, TX; daughter, Lee Ann (Thomason) Newcomb, Scarsdale, NY; grandchildren, Robert (Heidi) Stutzman, Michelle (Greg) Langston, Monica (Robbie) Wilhelm, Shannon Stutzman, Jonathan (Lisa) Newcomb, Christopher Newcomb, Mary Newcomb; great-grandchildren, Brayden Wilhelm, Alexandra Stutzman, Jakob Stutzman and Destiny Langston. Helen was one of the founding members of CURE, President of Resident Council of Northfield, a pediatric nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital from 1960 until her retirements in 1988 and 1997 where her specialty was Pediatric Oncology.
There will be no prior calling hours. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 10th at 11:00 AM at Perinton Presbyterian Church, 6511 Pittsford Palmyra Road. Private interment. Memorial contributions may be directed to CURE Childhood Cancer Assoc., 200 Westfall Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
