May 20, 2007, at age 88, surrounded by loving family. She is predeceased by her husband, John E. Maid Sr. and grandson, Robert Maid Jr. She is survived by her children, Robert Sr. (Dorothy), Benedict (Anna), Helen (Donald) Hensel, MaryAnn (John) McNeil, John Jr. (fiancée Julie Miles); grandchildren, Dennis, James, Donald Maid, Ann Marie Stenglein, Edward and Thomas Hensel, Robin Davis, Laura Foote, Michelle Scipioni, David Michielson, Kelley Caputo, Spencer, Jonathan, Holly Maid; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Buss; brother-in-law, James (Jean) Maid; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Helen's request, there will be no calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Wednesday, at St. Ann's Home Chapel, 1500 Portland Ave. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
