Rochester- Helen D. Payne, 66, passed away on August 27, 2019.
Helen was born in Rochester, NY on February 4, 1953 to the late David and Ina Bell Walker. On February 18, 1973 Helen married Michael Payne. Together they raised two children. Helen was a loyal employee of HSBC for over 25 years. She retired in 2004. In her retirement she loved reading, making and sending greeting cards. She never forgot a birthday or a holiday. She will be remembered for her love of shopping and keeping in touch with all of her friends and family. Her passion in life was her grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her brother, Donell Walker.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Mike, her children, Michelle Payne, and Michael (Natalie) Payne Jr., her four grandchildren, Xavier, Ziah, Mikey III, and Lily Helen, her siblings, Phyllis (Lee) Tucker, Kim (Charles) Alvarez, Charles Walker, and Sandra (Jan Denburg) Clark, a host of nieces and nephews, and her beloved four legged hairy baby, Patches.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609, on Sunday, September 1, 2019, from 10:00am-12:00pm, with a memorial service to follow.
