Greece: Henry Manfredi, 94, passed peacefully in the arms of his loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, August 20, 2007 after a brief bout with Alzheimer's Disease. Henry was born in Corona, Long Island on January 11, 1913 to Michael Manfredi and wife Concetta Bruno Manfredi. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian in 1991. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon and son-in-law, Charles Marang and son, Kenneth and daughter-in-law, Pamela of Hickory, NC and son, Henry Manfredi Jr. and Mary Jane Richmond of Rochester, NY; brother, Albino Manfredi and wife, Lillian; sister, Delores O'Brien of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Henry retired in 1975 after 30 years with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Henry went to work for Rochester Community Savings Bank and later became a volunteer with Life Span and the Park Ridge Hospital until age 93. The family would like to extend their many thanks to Dr. Harold Parmalee for the wonderful care given to Henry in his senior years and to the staff at Latta Road Nursing Home A, during his last few months.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 23rd, from 4-8 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Greece. Henry's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1000 N. Greece Road. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, next to his loving wife Lillian. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Road, Rochester, NY 14626.
