Chili: Wednesday, July 9th, 2008 at age 86. Born in Conesus, NY. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret; sons, Robert Van Scooter and Paul (Valerie) Van Scooter; daughter, Diane (Michael) Ventrella; grandchildren, Evan and Emily Van Scooter, Zachary, Christopher and Jacob Ventrella; many nieces and nephews. Herb served in WWII in the European, African and Middle Eastern Theater with the 536th Field Artillery. He retired from Kodak Apparatus Division after 41 years.
Special thanks to the staff (especially Susan) of Latta Road "A" Nursing Home for the care of our father.
Per Herb's request there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 315 Alberta Drive, Ste.102, Amherst, New York 14226 in his memory.
