Herman A. Cummings

Herman A. Cummings, born on January 2, 1942, in Jamaica, West Indies, passed away on February 18, 2025. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Herman dedicated many years of his life to his career at Xerox Corp., where he was known for his commitment and hard work. His professional journey was marked by a strong sense of integrity and a passion for excellence that left a lasting impression on his colleagues.

He is survived by his beloved sons, Andrew and Julian Cummings, as well as eight brothers and three sisters. Herman also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry his memory forward in their hearts.

He is predeceased by his parents, Cornelius Cummings and Phyllis Dell, who undoubtedly played an influential role in shaping the wonderful man he became.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on February 26, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals located at 2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Herman’s remarkable life and the legacy he has left behind.
