Hilton, NY: Sunday, October 18, 2009 at age 81. Predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Mabel Miles, brother, Charles Miles. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Elinor (Bode) Miles; sons, Mark (Sherry) Miles and Greg (Debbie) Miles of OH; grandchildren, Abigail, Ashley, Jennifer and Steven; sister-in-law, Wava Miles; brothers-in-law, Frederick "Bill" (Janet) Bode of AZ, Clarence Allan (Ernestine) Bode of MA. and John N. (Bernice) Bode of OH; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Homer was a member of the American Legion, Korean Army veteran and a retiree of Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company.
No prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his Memorial Service Saturday, October 24th, 11 AM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road North, Rochester, NY 14609 or the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Suite 401, Rochester, NY 14620 in Homer's memory.
