Hope Elaine (Warner) Olsson, 81, passed peacefully on March 30, 2024, of natural causes at Highland Hospital.
A resident of Rochester, New York, Hope was born in Elmira, New York and graduated from Ithaca High School. After moving to Rochester, she married Gudmund Olsson. Shortly after, they were blessed with their son Erik.

Hope worked as a systems analyst at Xerox, and as a Director of Corporate Planning at Information Associates until she decided to return to college at age 50. After graduating from the University of Buffalo Hope retired from her own law firm as a bankruptcy attorney. Hope received several awards for her work and was well known not only in the legal world but also within the Zydeco community for her infectious personality and love for life. Hope was the first person to pay a compliment to someone and did all she could to help others.

Hope is predeceased by her parents, Ruth and John Warner as well as her brother Sven and sister Lois. Hope is survived by her son Erik Olsson and his father Gudmund, her niece Margaret (Vincent) Toscano and their children, Peter, Ellia, Eli, Leo and Elizabeth as well as many close friends. Hope touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in memory of Hope on Saturday, May 18th from 2:00-5:00pm at the Olsson residence at 29 Buckingham St. (corner of Park Ave.)
