Henrietta/Wayland: Suddenly Tuesday, October, 27, 2009 at age 61. Predeceased by his father, Howard F. Silvers. Survived by children, Michael (Mari) Silvers and Kathleen (Chuck) Burpee; grandchildren, David, Krystal and Quintin; mother, Edna Silvers; brother, Gary (Sheila) Silvers; and nephew, Larry.
Howard was a member of the American Legion Post #402, the Moose Lodge #2290, Avon Anglers and the Avon Chapter of Harley Owners Group. He was a United States Marine Corp. Veteran who served in Vietnam during 1965-1966 and retired after 20 years of service as a Staff Sergeant.
No prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his Funeral Mass, Saturday, November 7th, 9 A.M. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3318 East Henrietta Road. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to East River Veterinary Hospital, 5152 East River Rd., West Henrietta, 14586 or Disabled American Veterans, 100 Exchange Blvd., 14614 in Howard's memory.
