Greece: Passed away peacefully Monday, November 16, 2009 at age 85. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Louise Coles; brothers, Robert, Charles and George. Survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Alma; nephews, Ronald, William, Robert, Edward, Garry, King, George (Helen) and several grand-nieces and nephews.
Howard was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during WW II in the Pacific Theatre. An Artist responsible for many works in Rochester. A member of the Fraternal Masons, Scottsville, NY and a member of the Painters Union Local 150.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 21st at 1 P.M. at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where Full Military Honors will be held immediately following services. Private Interment. Memorial contributions may be directed to Veteran's Outreach Center Inc., 791 South Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
