Chili: Died peacefully Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at age 87 with his loving wife of 64 years, Marie at his side. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lynda M. Ferra; grandchildren, Darla (Tim) Sherrier and Erick L. Schickler; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Cameron Sherrier; nephew, David (Kathy) Moore and niece, Melody (George) Landberg.
Howard was a retiree of Eastman Kodak after 33 years of service and a United States Navy Veteran serving during WWII at Pearl Harbor where he began his tour of duty December 7, 1941.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 4th from 3-6 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where Military Honors will follow at 6 PM. Burial will be at sea. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
