Hugo C. Campbell was born in Clonmel, Saint Mary Parrish in West Indies Jamaica to the late John Campbell and Matilda Hall. He was predeceased by his brother Vinnie Cross and brother-in-law Murphy Brown.
During his early years in Jamaica, he learned the trade of electrician and began work in the field. In 1987 he moved to Rochester, NY where he met and married his wife, Joann. He continued to work as electrician for Finnegan Electric. He was a perfectionist and took extreme pride in his craft. His boss and fellow employees would often compliment his work ethic and knowledge.
He was forced to retire due to his continuous health issues. While retired, he could still be found, hammering, nailing, remodeling, and various other projects around the house. He was a true storyteller and liked to joke. He loved the word of God. His FAVORITE book of the bible was the Psalms.
On May 23, 2021 Hugo transitioned into eternal rest and earned his wings. He will be truly missed and always remembered in his family's heart. He loved kids and had a heart and passion to help them in any way he could. He became a foster parent and helped shape young boys into grown men.
