Humberto Calderon Marquez
January 11, 1927 — January 12, 2022
Passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at age 95.
Predeceased by his parents, Rafael Calderon and Providencia Calderon; four brothers and two sisters.
Calderon is survived by his wife Minerva Marquez Collazo; his children, Cassandra (Larry) Marquez-Baker, Yolanda (Cesario Sr.) Irizarry, Paula Collazo and James (Margie) Collazo; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; his brother Angel Luis Calderon, and many nieces and nephews.
He loved to be in his garden tending to his vegetables, when not catering to his grandchildren. His passion was coaching baseball. He was a true New York Yankees fan.
Calling hours will be Wednesday January 19th from 2pm to 4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 6 Empire Blvd.
Private reception for immediate family to follow.
