Rochester: Monday, February 4, 2008 at age 92. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond; daughter, Vivian Malvaso; sister, Mildred Graham. She is survived by her children, Judy DeCillis and Gordon DeCillis; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Hasselwander; brothers, Herb (Rita) and Paul Schneider; son-in-law, Frank Malvaso; nieces, nephews and many dear friends, especially Monica Mesolella and Mary Cornell. Irene was a member of the Young at Heart Senior Club at Holy Family Church.
A special thank you to the caregivers at St. John's Home (Res. 4) for their dedication and loving support.
No prior calling hours. Irene's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 8th, 10 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 36 Armstrong Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation-Genesee Valley Chapter, 3300 Monroe Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618 or MDA/ALS Center at the U of R, PO Box 673, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14642 in Irene's memory.
