February 25, 1932 — December 25, 2023
Passed peacefully December 25, 2023 at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her siblings, Joseph Kenneth, Therese Marie Lotocki, & John Henry; & nephew Sean Paul Kelly.
Survived by her sister Margaret Hollis; nieces, Susan (Eric) Gothing, Erin (Dave) Kelly Marques, Stephen Kelly, Christopher Kelly, Linda (Jim) Earnhart, & Julie (Dennis) Niedens; & many great nieces, nephews, other family, & friends.
In her earlier years, Irene was a model for Eastman Kodak. She held a Masters degree in education & taught in the Rochester City School district for over 30 years, receiving the Teacher of the Year award twice.
Irene was an avid golfer, & also enjoyed ballroom & other styles of dance.
Calling hours will be Friday January 5, 2-4:30pm with service at 4:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. Burial the following day 11am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
