Ismael "Izzy" Torres died in Rochester, NY at age 74. Izzy was preceded in death by his parents; Rafael Torres Moreno, Isabel Rivera, brothers; Rafael, Willy, and Angel Torres and stepson; Timmy Sloan. He is survived by his wife of 28 years; Joanne Kelly Torres, stepchildren; Sue (Bob) Berlin, Steven (Margaret) Sloan, Danny (Kerri) Sloan, grandchildren; Nick (Sara), Gina, Zack, Dylan, DJ and great-grandson; Easton. Izzy was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and moved to New York City at 8 years old and later to Rochester as an adult, where he worked at MCC in environmental services for 22 years; retiring in 2006. He enjoyed drawing, reading and spending time with his cat "LB". His big laugh, wise cracks and big smile will be greatly missed by all.
Family will receive friends March 9th from 4-6pm at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond Rd.)
