Jack William Cowd

Passed peacefully, Sunday, June 9, 2019 at age 70. He was predeceased by his daughter, Christine; parents, Melvin and Helen; brother, Tom. He is survived by his son, Tom (Chentelle); grandchildren, Thomas and Christopher; sisters, Sandy Wernsdorfer, Ginny Cowd, Nancy (Dirk) DeKramer; brothers, David (Karen), Walter; and many nieces and nephews.

Jack was a retiree of General Motors. A U.S. Army Veteran, who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the 60th Combat Engineering Battalion.

Family will receive friends Friday, June 14, 2019 from 5-8 PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a Service with Military Honors will be held at 8 PM. Private Interment.
