Scottsville: Jack passed away peacefully on November 1st, 2016 at age 96.
Predeceased by his companion of 30 years Alice Cavagrotti and his brother Alex.
He is survived by his children Cynthia (Neal) Swernofsky, Pamela Oblein and Jack (Jay) Oblein;
grandchildren Sarah, David, Jordan and Audra; great-grandchildren Ella and Carter, his sister Marge Cushman; brothers Jim (Ann) and Bill (Joan) Oblein.
Jack retired from Taylor Instrument. He had been a Trustee of the village of Scottsville 1961-1980. He was a member of the Smith-Warren Legion Post Scottsville, NY for 63 years and was a WW II Army veteran.
There are no calling hours or services. Any contributions in his name may be made to the Smith-Warren Post.
