James "Jim" Chapman

Passed away on, October 29, 2022 at the age of 77.
Predeceased by his, parents Everett and Mary Jane Chapman; father in law, Thomas Petrillo.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joanne Chapman; children, Lea Chapman Hall, Cory (Tina Marie) Chapman; grandchildren, Cody and Jeremy Hall, Kevin and Parker Nau, Violet Chapman; great grandchildren, Jamison Milo Hall, Brier Owen Hall, Paisley Lynn Hall and Emmett Douglas Hall; brother, Loren (Sandy) Chapman; nephew, Chad Chapman; mother in law, Nancy Petrillo; and many cousins.
Family will receive friends Saturday, November 5th 1-5PM, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A Service will follow at 5PM.
Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in Jim's memory.
Jim was born and raised in Oregon. This is where he fell in love with music. The flugel horn was his favorite instrument to play. Jim played in Main Street; a show band that performed comedy skits and music.
He met his wife when he was playing in a club in Rochester, NY. Eventually he settled down in Rochester to help run the family restaurant, Tom & Nancy's Pizzeria.
