James B. Doyle
Saturday, October 7, 2006, at age 85. Predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years, Marjorie "Madge" Doyle. He is survived by his daughters, Maureen (Robert) McNamara, Ann (William) Pritchard, Kathleen (John) Cieslik; sons, Timothy (Mary), Thomas (Amy), Robert and James B. III (Christine) Doyle; 19 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a graduate of Aquinas Institute, earned his Bachelors at Columbia University and graduated from Cornell Law School. He practiced law in Rochester for more than forty years.
He proudly served his country as a First Lieutenant piloting B-24's on high altitude combat missions. He completed 50 missions and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 3 clusters and the European Theatre of Operations Ribbon with 4 Battle Stars. He was an avid golfer and a member of Penfield Country Club.
Family and friends may call Friday, October 13th, 4-7 at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ambrose Church. Interment will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Aquinas Institute or St. Ambrose Church.
