James E. "Pepa" Fitch

September 19, 1944- August 3, 2021

Suddenly, August 3, 2021 at Highland Hospital after a courageous battle with kidney disease.
Pre-deceased by his parents, Walter and Helen Fitch and his brother, John Fitch.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Jean Fitch (DeCanzio), children, Daniel (Meagan) Fitch, Kevin (Sabrina Quatro) Fitch, Samantha (Evan) Tyler, sister Carol Nunes, Brother in law, sister in law Theresa and Jim Dickerson, grandchildren, Daniel Fitch Jr., Christopher Fitch, James Fitch, Victoria Fitch, Reagan Tyler, Jason Quatro, many nieces and nephews.

James was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Navy and was retired from the University of Rochester metal shop. James was also a Harley Davidson enthusiast and avid motorcyclist.

To know Jim was to love him and he will be deeply missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made in his memory to The National Kidney Foundation.
