ROCHESTER- James A. Gittleman, 76, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
James was born in Syracuse, NY on January 28, 1944 to the late Theodore and Shirley Gittleman.
James was the beloved partner of the late Rahn Cushway for many years until his passing in 1995.
He is survived by his siser, Joanne (William) MacBlane, his nephew, Glenn (Kelly) MacBlane, his niece, Amanda (Stephane) Sesquin, his grand-nephews, Ryan, Samuel, Brayden, Owen, and Jonah.
He is predeceased by his two Siamese cate, Luke, and Laura.
Jimmy was a longtime volunteer at St. John's Nursing Home. He held many different jobs in his life including a Poker Dealer in Las Vegas, a Postal Worker in Denver, a Teacher in the Hudson Valley, and most recently as a Copywriter at the Shopping Bag News in East Rochester.
A private burial will be held at White Haven Memorial Park, and the family will announce a Celebration of Life at a later date following the Covid-19 Pandemic.
