Bergen: Friday, May 7. 2010 at age 74. He was predeceased by his wife, Maureen. Survived by his son, James (Christine) Koons, Jr.; daughter, Shelly Koons; grandchildren, Casey (Kristi) Koons, Michael Gray and P.J. Lundy; great-grandchildren, CJ, Cole and Cameron Koons; sisters, Mary "Tootsie" Shukitis, Helen (Walter) Roman; brother, Gene (Sandy) Koons. James was a Korean and Vietnam War Army Veteran.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 11th from 4-6 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Rd. N., Rochester, NY 14609.
