Irondequoit: Peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2007, at age 60 with his loving and devoted wife, Mary at his side. He was predeceased by his father, Marlon. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his beloved mother, Jane; daughters, Liberty (Ray) Lally and Chelsey Jacobs; step-children, Pam and Tommy Keebler; grandson, Dylan Lally; sister, Janis (Jim) Bruns; brother, Mark Jacobs; nieces, Marla and Mandy Bruns and Mary Jo Laymon; along with many dear friends and brothers of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was owner and operator of Jacobs Fine Art Gallery and Custom Framing for 10 years at Clover Commons in Brighton
The family will receive friends on Friday , September 28, 2007 from 4-9 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday Sept. 29th at 11 AM in Laurelton United Presbyterian Church, 335 Helendale Rd. Private Interment. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Laurelton United Presbyterian Church or to Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care (St. Mary's Hospice), 3111 Winton Rd. S., Rochester, NY 14623.
