Rochester: Suddenly, Monday, June 8, 2009 at age 92. He was predeceased on May 10, 2009 by his wife of 62 years, Christina. Survived by son, Allan (Maureen); grandchildren, Alec, Andrew, Collin and Evan; sister, Barbara of Scotland; many nieces and nephews; and other extended family through out the United States, Canada and Scotland. James was a member of The Damascus Shrine (Scottish Rite), The Rochester Scottish Pipes and Drums, The Canadian Legion and a Veteran of the Highland Light Infantry serving during WW II.
There will be no prior calling hours. Services and Interment will be held in Scotland. Memorial contributions may be directed to The Rochester Scottish Pipes and Drum, P.O. Box 18548, Spencerport, NY 14518.
