Upon retirement, Fred and Anne moved to Angelica, NY and thoroughly enjoyed country life. Fred loved game bird hunting, especially pheasant and quail, and he had a succession of hunting dogs he enjoyed training. He also had a lifelong interest in environmental conservation. He loved nothing more than playing with his grandchildren and taking them on nature walks on his property. He also lived for a time in Wayland and Dansville, NY, and made many friends there.
Our family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the outstanding staff at Rochester Presbyterian Home, especially all the staff on the 3rd floor. They truly became Fred's "other" family, as he spent his last 5 ½ years in their dedicated and loving care. We will never forget all you did for him.
Interment will be at White Haven Memorial Park, where a private memorial service will be held.
