Jim was a talented drummer with a love for music. He spent many years of his youth in a band and later on joined a worship group at Aldersgate Methodist Church where he shared his talents every Sunday. He had a deep love for his family and pets. Affectionately known as "Papa" by his grandsons, he truly adored being a grandfather to 7 boys.
Jim was very handy and there wasn't much that he couldn't fix or build.
Jim was also very passionate about technology. His inquisitive nature and general curiosity found him repairing many types of electronics that kept him busy. He spent more than 22 years at Ashly Audio moving up the ranks and finally retiring in 2011 as Director of Technical Services.
He was loved very deeply by his family and close friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 1pm-3:30pm with a memorial service at 3:30pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
In lieu of flowers please send donations in Jim's honor to
Lollypop Farms Humane Society.
