James L. Munnings
June 12, 1933 — January 3, 2017
Brighton: Passed Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at age 83 surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth, brother Robert.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betsy (Bates); sons, David (Cindy) and Kevin; daughter, Linda (William) Arnold; grandchildren, David II and Lisa Munnings, Emily (Chris) Drew; great-grandchildren, Jace and D.J. III; brother, Charles Munnings; several nieces and nephews.
James was an Army Veteran and retiree of the Monroe County Sheriffs Department.
Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Friday, January 6, 2017 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. followed by a Service at 7 PM. Interment will be held 10 AM Saturday, January 7, 2017 at White Haven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Humane Society At Lollypop Farm.
