Jim Stull, 85, of Rochester, New York, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2018 after suffering a stroke. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Eugene Stull; his mother, Josephine West Carr; and his beloved stepfather, Dale Vernon Carr.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Stull, and his son-in-law, Jason Gordon.
Jim was a graduate of the Ohio State University, where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He was a Korean War Veteran and worked as a sales representative with the Dial Corporation, retiring after forty-one years. Jim was a lifelong fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, and attended hundreds of home football and basketball games where he could be heard singing the national anthem and "Carmen Ohio" loudly and proudly.
The family would like to thank everyone at St. John's Home for taking such good care of Dad over the past year, as well as the staff at the Palliative Care Ward at Strong Memorial Hospital for their compassionate and loving care in his final days.
