Suddenly, Thursday, June 24, 2010 at age 68. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ada Bogardus and brother, Gerald. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Carolyn (Trouskie); daughters, Christine (Russ) Zocco and Patricia (Gene) Murray; grandchildren, Cory and Kyle Zocco, Connor and Caitlyn Murray; sister-in-law, Elaine (Frank) Bader; brothers-in-law, Edward Trouskie and Thomas (Colleen) Trouskie; nieces & nephews.
James was an Army Veteran and retired from IBM.
Family and friends may call Monday, June 28th 5:30 - 8:30 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church (Bonesteel St. at St. Martin's Way). Private Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
