Jamie Welch, how can we possibly describe the love we had for this beautiful, darling man and the unbearable void he now leaves?
We have lost a beloved father, son, uncle, cousin and friend to so many.
Thru out his illness he didn't complain, kept his adorable smile, made the most of things and used his time to enjoy his passion, golf with anyone who would play with him.
He traveled to Key West and Florida as his last adventures and spent time with his friends and family.
Everything he did revolved around his beloved children, Breanna, Deavon, Jaelyn and Teagan
He was intensely proud of them. He hopes they will continue on in his memory and make him proud, he would expect nothing less. Jamie's home was the epicenter for friends and family. He generously hosted every holiday and celebration and nothing made him happier than doing it. His kindness, compassion, generosity and sense of humor are legendary. The room lit up when he walked in, larger then life, his bear hugs were the first thing that greeted you. His sweet and gentle nature will be missed.
Jamie was pre deceased by his father Jimmy, Grandparents GG and Poppi, Grama Mona, Aunt Laurie and her husband Jimi C and his beloved Jessica. He leaves Sarah who devoted herself to his care, her kindness and devotion were appreciated beyond what can be expressed. His children Breanna (Tyler Caine), Deavon, Jaelyn and Teagan Welch. His mother Karen Whitcomb (Doc), sister Tracy Welch, her children, Brandon, Emmy and Analiese Brown. Many cousins, aunts and uncles. His dog Ellie and cat Milo. "Every child deserves one person who thinks the sun rises and sets on them." For Jamie, that person was Aunt Lindy.
We would like to express our gratitude to the countless friends and cousins who provided endless support. While we are shattered by this loss, we take comfort in knowing that Jamie is now surrounded by light and is free from the agonizing illness that took him.
He was welcomed by those he adored who passed before him and we look forward to the many signs he'll undoubtedly provide the ones he left behind.
Our grief over losing Jamie is infinite, but now so is he.
