Rochester - Passed away peacefully at her home on May 10, 2023 at the age of 91.
Predeceased by her husband, Bill; parents, Kenneth & Mary Tripp; sister Eleanor.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Fred) Johnstone, Michael (Ann) Streiff, & John (Sue) Streiff; grandchildren, Aaron, Jeremy, Erin, Neil, Brianna, Brooke, Bryant, Savannah, & Kamren; great grandsons, Kyle, Oscar, & Liam; sister in-law, Joyce; nieces & nephews.
Born Jane Atwood Tripp in Dickinson, NY. Jane and her family moved to Rochester where she attended West High school, graduating in 1950. In 1955, she married her high school sweetheart, Bill Streiff.
Throughout her life, Jane was a loving wife and mother who stayed active as a Red Cross swimming instructor, volunteer, and accomplished waterfowl artist.
Jane enjoyed playing bridge and a voracious reader, enjoying poetry and prose. She was an avid golfer.
As her spirit continues it's journey, Jane leaves a lasting legacy of family, love, tolerance of others and a deep appreciation of the beauty of nature and the solace it offers.
